Boysie Bollinger honored with 2017 Man of Achievement Award
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Boysie Bollinger, Chairman and CEO of the Bollinger Enterprises LLC, was honored with the Man of Achievement by the Phi Kappa Theta Foundation. The Man of Achievement Award, started in 1980 and awarded by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, is the highest honor bestowed upon Brothers of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. The award recognizes members who have risen to prominence in their chosen fields of endeavor. Bollinger was recognized during the Fraternity’s Biennial Convention on July 28, 2017 in Washington, D.C.
Prior to forming Bollinger Enterprises, Boysie carried on his family’s legacy as the CEO of Bollinger Shipyards Inc., a full service marine construction and ship repair company. In addition to his business, Boysie has served the Louisiana Community in numerous ways.
Brother Bollinger has been actively involved in professional organizations, including: the United States Coast Guard Foundation, The Nature Conservancy of Louisiana, the United Way, and the Boy Scouts of America, among other non-profit organizations and philanthropic causes. He is also Chairman of the Nicholls State University Foundation.
Boysie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he was initiated into the Louisiana Omicron chapter of Phi Kappa Theta.
