Hank Danos honored with 2021 Man of Achievement Award
NEW ORLEANS, LA — Garret “Hank” Danos, Owner and Chairman of the Board of Danos, was honored with the Man of Achievement by the Phi Kappa Theta Foundation. The Man of Achievement Award, started in 1980 and awarded by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, is the highest honor bestowed upon Brothers of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. The award recognizes members who have risen to prominence in their chosen fields of endeavor. Danos was recognized during the Fraternity’s Biennial Convention on July 24, 2021 in New Orleans, LA.
For over four decades, Hank Danos has been the leader at the helm of Danos’ global success. In 1962, he joined the company his father and uncle founded, and from his first job as a roustabout, to his current role as Chairman of the Board, Hank has been a hands-on leader and the driving force behind the company’s values-based approach to business.
Hank has been actively involved in professional organizations, including: the executive subcommittee of Offshore Operators Committee (OOC), the Louisiana Association of Business & Industry (LABI), the LSU Board of Supervisors, the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA), and the LA 1 Coalition.
Hank served in the Louisiana National Guard and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
