Doug Dilling honored with 2006 Man of Achievement Award

WORCESTER, MA— Doug Dilling was honored with the Man of Achievement by the Phi Kappa Theta Foundation. The Man of Achievement Award, started in 1980 and awarded by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, is the highest honor bestowed upon Brothers of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity.  The award recognizes members who have risen to prominence in their chosen fields of endeavor. Dilling was recognized during the Fraternity’s National Meeting on August 5, 2006.

Following graduation, Doug immediately joined the PKT National Staff. He would spend eight years as Executive Director of the fraternity, providing leadership for planning, fundraising, and operations. Upon his retirement from professional fraternity life, Doug’s career continued in the non-profit space. He served as the Managing Director for a professional modern dance company, followed by eight years as the Vice President for Marketing and Development for Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Broadcasting. Doug began his real estate career in 2001 and quickly became one of the top producing agents in the company.

Dilling has been actively involved in number of organizations, including: member of the Dance Kaleidoscope Board of Directors, The Fletcher Place Neighborhood Association, and is a development advisor for Broadway United Methodist Church. Doug is also an accomplished tenor soloist and studio musician.

Dilling attended Kansas State University, where he was initiated into the Kansas Iota chapter of Phi Kappa Theta and later served as Chapter President.
