Help return the Louisiana Xi Chapter to LSU.

The Louisiana Xi Chapter was a special place where young men learned how to lead and formed lifelong friendships with one another. We now have a special opportunity to re-establish the chapter at LSU so future generations can experience the same.

The future of our Fraternity at LSU is now, and its success hinges upon the involvement and support of our alumni members.

Now, we need alumni of the chapter to help.

First, we’re asking alumni to lend their name and influence to the recolonization of the chapter. By completing the form on this page and allowing us to list you as a supporter, you will help demonstrate to LSU that there is strong support and interest in the reestablishment of the chapter.

Second, we’re establishing an alumni advisory board. As a board member, you will offer input into the vision, operations, ideas, and direction of our Fraternity at LSU. Once the chapter is opened, we’ll also call upon you to help advise and mentor new members.

Please complete the form on this page to lend your name and influence to this effort. Also, if you’re willing to serve on the alumni advisory board, please indicate that on the form as well.

The groundwork has been laid for the return of the chapter to the LSU campus. Now, we need your help.

Fall 2022 Goals

Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sharing updates as we progress towards achieving our Fall 2022 goals for the re-establishment of the chapter, which are as follows:

1: Purchase a House
We have an agreement in place to purchase the house at
12 E. Fraternity Circle, currently owned by Sigma Alpha Mu. The Phi Kappa Theta Foundation is providing the financing necessary to purchase the facility.

The purchase of the house should be completed by October 15, 2022. Renovations will be necessary to bring the facility up to the standard of other fraternity houses at LSU.

2: Receive Approval to Recolonize at LSU and Establish the Timeline
The national office has been in close contact with the administration at LSU for the past year, as they prepared to welcome new fraternities to the campus. We will be formally presenting to the Interfraternity Council on Wednesday September 28th. After this presentation, we will know more details about the timeline for the chapter’s recolonization.

3: Establish an Alumni Advisory Board
We need alumni to help as we progress towards our goal or reopening the Louisiana Xi Chapter. We’re establishing an advisory board of alumni brothers from LSU and from other chapters that have successfully recolonized chapters on other campuses.
