Help brothers attend Officers Academy
Our chapters are special places where young men get their first real tests of leadership and community-building. Every conversation they have, every chapter meeting they lead, and every relationship they forge will shape their abilities and prepare them for their futures.
And strong leaders are essential to the health of our chapters.
In January, the newly-elected leaders of each chapter will attend a weekend-long Officers Academy in Atlanta.
Over three days, participants will learn the fundamentals of being a leader. The curriculum will emphasize team-building, ethical decision-making, budgeting, public relations, risk management, and recruitment. These skills will help them lead our chapters and prepare them for their lives and careers.
The weekend will feature expert-led sessions and breakout team meetings facilitated by alumni volunteers and fraternity staff.
This event will also give this next group of chapter leaders an opportunity to meet and bond with one another. Brothers will leave having built a network of peers who hold similar positions in their own chapters who they can call upon throughout the year for advice.
Your gift will allow new chapter officers to attend the Officers Academy.
It is important that as many chapters as possible are represented at the academy, and we need your help to help cover the cost of attending.
The cost of attendance is $1,000 per brother, including travel expenses.
Please consider an investment in the future of these young men by making a gift today.
Brotherhood in Phi Kappa Theta taught us all what we often didn’t learn in the classroom, and the impact it had our lives is readily apparent.
Today, that tradition continues, as our brothers are leading on their campuses and within their communities.
Your gift to the helps prepare young men to become the problem solvers and servant leaders that our society needs.
